Coming Soon to The Mission District: Vida Condominiums

New Mission Theater in 1943, 1975, 2006

The New Mission Theater sits on a block once known as the Mission Miracle Mile in the 1940’s.  It was the second biggest shopping and entertaining district with Union Square being number one.

2558 Mission street, San Francisco, CA

The new condominium development at 2558 Mission St. called Vida might be able to once again create a thriving area for local businesses.  Oyster Development and their partner Tricon Capital have done an amazing job creating a modern urban complex with a Latin flare that embodies the Mission District.  The project includes 114 new condo units that will be available soon! (March 2014).  It also includes 14,750 square feet of retail space and the rehabilitation and reuse of the adjacent historic single-screen theater known as the New Mission Theater, which will be converted into a 5-screen cinema to be operated by Alamo Drafthouse Cinema.

Lolinda Bar in San Francisco

Many improvements have been made in the Mission District over the past couple years, especially the increase of trendy restaurants and bars.  The popular restaurant Medjool known for the roof top bar recently reopened as a more sophisticated swanky restaurant/bar called Lolinda.  Other trendy restaurants that have been added over the years include Hog & Rocks, , Flour & WaterCommonwealth, Farina, and Locanda.  Some of my favorite more traditional restaurants in the Mission include Cha Cha Cha’s, Limon Rotisserie, Foreign Cinema and Delfina.  One of the biggest benefits of living in San Francisco is the walkability to shopping, restaurants and bars.  It is no wonder why the Mission District has become one of the trendiest areas to live with the wealth of restaurants and shops close by.  It also offers easy access to BART stations, public transit and tech shuttles to accommodate your daily commute.

Don’t miss out on your opportunity to own a condo in one of the trendiest neighborhoods in San Francisco.  Contact me today to be one of the first to see the Vida and become a homeowner in the up and coming Mission District!
